This is Shadowrun

Foxfire Carnation
Bob, Bob, I tickled a dog!

Well, you see, in the latest episode of Foxfire Carnation, a show Ladron has gotten me onto watching Ekatarina was hit by a truck while trying to cross a road and rescue little Diego who was being abducted by the nasty piece of work Pablo. Well that lead to her going into a coma, while in the coma her husband Bob entered into an affair with her identical twin sister. When Ekatarina awoke from her slumber she wandered out of the hospital and walked around the streets, every time she saw a dog she utterly freaked out and ran away. She eventually found her way home where her husband and sister were doing the dirty, they heard her come in and her sister climbed out the window and escaped. Bob was all sweetness and light the dastardly devil. She told him of her fear of dogs and didn't know where it came from but he didn't care, that night they shared a night of latin passion. So the next day we follow Ekatarina where she is told by one of her friends how Bob has been acting while she was away and that lead to a loud and long argument between the two with many slaps, almost an all out brawl. it was clear Ekatarina did not believe her friend. It was after this argument that a dog came up to her, one she seemed to recognize from her coma dreams. She wasn't scared of this one, in fact she stroked it and tickled it. Well that was it she ran home through the small town into her house and caught her sister and Bob doing the dirty though not before she had yelled out excitedly 'Bob, Bob I tickled a dog!' Well it seems like Bob was doing the same. And a three way argument started. Once that was over she stormed out of the house and there was that one dog waiting for her. It seemed to want her to follow it, which of course she did. Through the town it took her to an old warehouse on the outskirts, she could hear a noise from inside. Sneaking in she found poor little Diego tied to a chair, she rescued the little chap. it then cut to a short scene of Maria, Ekatarinas sister kissing Pablo and the credits rolled. What on earth is gunna happen next week? How on earth did they fit all that into a 30 minute show? All i can say is thanks Ladron, i owe ya.

On on that note i did a little research and found out they changed the actress for Maria because the last one got in trouble with cartels and her head was delivered to the director. Lovely.

So Anderson lived in a shitty part of town and our intrepid troupe went to go go and see him. Well he lived next door to a quite popular Mariachi band and hated their music, it was sending him and his dog utterly doo lally. They managed to find out some information from him, a guy called Sanchez was in Housten Memorial Hospital in the mental ward. There were 20 or so guys on the team. There was definitely a number of deaths, he described how one was there one minute and gone the next with just a growing spread of blood int he water.

So they left his house, the mariachi band playing a little ditty off to an army surplus store which was manned by a beardy guy in a faded camo t-shirt.

Well Kitlings as they say, that is that. So what happened to the rigger they were going to meet? What's going to happen at the dig site? Will Maria and Diego get caught out? Is Ekatarina scared of all dogs except that one? Will Bob leave Ekatarina for Maria? Who knows?

Gamecat Out!

Working 9 till 5
What a way to make a living.

Down in town in old Houston town, this on what seems to be drop bears home turf, maybe the bear can help out with local knowledge, if he can remember that far back. Jury is out on that one.

So our intrepid runners have gotten to the meeting place. a large office block. Oh god corp boys, I feel sorry for them, douche bag city! This was brought home by the choice of elevator musak, while in the elevator our helpful techie tried to look up the office details via the camera.

While on the way the way to the office they overheard some of a conversation the bears friend was speaking to one of his colleagues, not a great conversation, more of an argument. Well after that the meet went ok, the pay, that was the real question, the pay for the job in question was 25k plus 10k expenses. But what was the job?

The job was simple, investigate the johnsons oil deposit ground works site. Oil, lovely, lovely oil! Black gold, Makes Game cat think of those dangerous black feathers. Enough of that talk of feathers, they are so last month. Mexican elves on the other hand… We are near Atzlan after all.

So the runners got some in formation from our johnson. An address of one: Gary Anderson. When they left to go see him the van had gone, where had it gone? They left Wraith with it. turns out she moved it… Oh Wraith what will we do with you? insert canned laughter

Anyhow feathers to do, Gamecat out!

No Rhyme or reason
Ok maybe a rhyme

Feathers here,

Feathers there,

Feathers fucking everywhere,

Feathers for me,

Feathers for you,

But who cares,

Well well Kitlings, hoped you liked that little ditty. What has Game Cat got in store for you?

Well it seems our runners are laying low, Ladron is paranoid old Azzie is gunna track her down. Wraith wants to dissapear. The P.I is doing whatever P.i's do. The psyco chicalita, well she is, looking for things to shoot, playing with guns is bad for the health, maybe Game Cat should come out of hiding and tell her? What do you think? Send any thoughts to the usual receptacle.  That leaves us with Drop Bear. Dear sweet Drop Bear, the apple in Game Cats eye. A mystery wrapped in a CAS born nugget of Tex-Mex mishmash brought to you via a fist of troll sized proportions. What has he been up to? Who knows? Whatever Drop Bears do i guess.

Back at the beginning Game Cat has lied to you. My little Rhyme to give you the reason of my words. Well what could it mean? Has there been an influx of these feathers of all kind? What are they? Are they magic? Are they Tech? Game Cat's suspicions are the former. Tartarus thought so too.

Since our friend Dagon mysteriously disappeared into the open corporate arms of Mitsuhama things went all quiet on the feather front. No one has even entered old Dagon's apartment and Ladron would know. But let me tell you this. Game Cat has something of a surprise in his his bag of shenanigans. A lovely bit of pay data a nice hacker friend of mine got from a lab down south. Feather details, I will be bringing you the best knowledge the Game Cat can get his grubby little mits on when He has experienced them main lined. It's gunna be a ride!

Game Cat out!

Bang for your buck
The end

Well hoi hoi kitlings,

What a roller coaster ride that was. No mexican elves but things have finally come to an end. Was there a body count in the drawing moments? Of course there was. Did our runners survive? Of course they did, alive to run another day.

We left our runners having been ambushed at the park in Everett, the gunplay having been caught on camera. The news dropped while they were still in the truck, accused of a kidapping our Johnson it seemed like the end had come for our runners. Would the big house be callign their names?

Luckily not, it seemed a certain Mr Lazlo had a different idea. Our Johnson's boss was aware of the PR nightmare that was the fight in the park he called her up and convinced her she needed to take part in a press release debunking the kidnapping story. They drop her off and hand her over to her parent corp. Ladron tracked the van through the matrix back to it's location, a corp facility back in Everett, all seemed genuine.

Back at the Cherry Bomb our runners were catching up on some z's or just waking up to get some breakfast down at the club when some professional rats came a scurrying in. By professional rats i mean corp Johnsons. They wanted to buy something from our runners. They wanted to buy our friend 'Dagon'. So what did our runners do? What every self respecting runner would do, check out who the hell they were, in this case a duet of Johnsons from Mitsuhama by the names of Ray Tinner and Nita Kesor, then hatch a plan to get paid twice for the same job.

Then the news broke, on the bar's trideo came the press conferance. There she was, Charlotte Foster standing next to Mr Lazlo in front of the gathered press. She did a stalwart job in clearing our runners names of any wrong doing by stating quite publicly that they were her bodyguards defending her from an attack by a rival corp, still no mexican elves however. Then without warning her face exploded outward towards the cameras as she was shot int he back of the head. Mr Lazlo caught her and looked genuinely shocked his face pale at what he now had in his arms. He ducked out out of shot still holding her as chaos erupted around them.

So, with our Johnson out for the count what will our runners do? It just so happens that before the press conference they had spoken to their lovely Johnson and she had told them that her brother had contacted her not only that but where the meet was. It was a simple case of contacting the two at Mitsuhama and arranging a meet. When they got Dagon though he had an unused feather with him, looks like the cash would be rolling in for the runners. One hand over later and the runners had one hell of a payout. Not bad for a run gone wrong.

I wonder where the Mexican elves came in though?

Well kitlings,

See you next time!

Party in the Park
Goes off with a bang

Slaughter At Walter E Hall Park

News just in; there have been reports of gunfire at Walter E Hall Part today as a woman was seemingly kidnapped in broad daylight by a number of unnamed assailants. There are a confirmed 3 dead individuals that were involved in the gunfight and 2 passers by were hit with stray shots. Public damage is at a minimum due to the openness of the terrain. No children were harmed physically but there were some present in view when the fight broke out.

A local security drone caught a majority of the fire fight on film, follow this link, to view the video (viewer discretion is advised). As you can see the five assailants consist of a confirmed one Troll and four Human companions. Using the images gained from the attached video we were unable to ascertain the identities of the individuals in question, Knight Errant have issued a reward for further information in the identities of those involved.

Our reporter down at the park has described the scene as horrific, the aftermath  of the fire fight has the park cordoned off by Knight Errant while forensics investigate. Our sources say that the victims are not UCAS nationals and SINS cannot be located, leading us to believe this could be possible Shadowrunner activity. The victim of the kidnapping is knows as Charlotte Foster, a worker in a small corp Allied Interactions. Could this be a corporate extraction gone awry? Who knows? If you know something please don't hesitate to let us know on the KSAF Lead site.

Well well Kitlings,

Looks as though our runners are getting themselves into some hot water. How are they going to get out of this? Will they be able to track down the brother? Will the sister know anything? I guess we will find out.

Peace out Kittlings.

Draining brains and fake seizures

Hello again kitlings,

Back with us and out intrepid group of shadowrunners who have just found the feather. Well Ladron seemed to have a seizure when she saw it, what was that all about? Who knows, just don't buy the bacon BTL. Is Ladron a secret Beetle head?

Looking through the address book they found a picture of a badly drawn feather next to an LTG number. Tracing it back to it's source found it was last used in Tacoma so it looks like it's back to the aroma for our little group. Not before Ladron called up some favours from one of her sprites. This one a slim purple sneaky woman in what seemed to be skin tight latex.

She sent this little sprite to go and find out when the device was being used. A simple task for a bunch of computer code to do while floating around in the matrix. No sooner had the taks been given when a ping came back in downtown, more specifically the ork underground. Back to downtown for our cadre.

Heading down there was easy, i mean these days it is pretty much a tourist attraction isn't it chummers? Well they went down there and they found him. The dealer in question, our feather man, was an ork with bright orange hair. They approached him and confronted him, he was slightly taken aback but dealt with it. They went back… guess where… To the Cherry Bomb, for a little talk with him.

What followed was a nice friendly chat with a drug dealer. Did he know Dagon? Yes, he was his best customer. Where did he get the feather? Online. Did he have any more? No. Why did he risk getting something he had no idea what it was from someone he didn't know? There was a lot of buzz around it as being the next big thing. Where online did he get it? A pop up site in Aztlan. What was the feather? A drug, you spear the back of your throat with it and it gives you a trip better than any BTL. What did the one that Dagon took do? It was called Brain Drain and was your standard horror trip, lots of paranoia, lots of fear, bucket loads of adrenilin, just what Dagon loved.

In all this came the gem:

'Are you a feather dealer or something?'

'What made you say that?'

'A little birdy told me.'

Ladron called up her cartel buddies, would they sell it. Sure they would if they could get some.

So Kitlings, where to now? Are we at a dead end? It seems they got everything they could from the dealer. What's going on with the group of runners that got wiped out? Who hired them? What's going on with all this feather jazz? And who are the Mexican elves?

Well, will we find out what is going on? That's it for this time Kitlings, see you again. This is Gamecat signing off.

Spies, Johnsons and Elves...
Oh my!

Tempers ran high, an argument, some accusations. Could one of our favourite runners be a corp spy? Drop Bear thought so, accusing Ladron of this heinous crime. Luckily the others talked him down and they decided to leave the barrens heading back to the Cherry Bomb. This could have been faltered by a minor security check while passing through to Bellvue.

Once back at the club they had a plan. They wanted to meet the client. The music was pumping, the night was getting livelier. Wraith went to her friend, the club owner. You see she wanted to get some new gear, a chameleon suit, too bad Ricky couldn't get one. Drop bear on the other hand went over the road to a local mum and pop shop to buy a burner commlink. Coming back to the table with his wares he gave it to Tartarus, who promptly broke the casing. He never was good with tech.

He contacted the client, they spoke briefly and agreed she would come to the club after work. At 2am she arrived, the gang spent the intervening time with getting drunk and dancing badly.

The client arrived and was met with a group wanting to give up on their search. They wanted paying more, she said she couldn't afford to pay them more than 500 each. Were there some crossed wires? They thought it was 500 to share. They showed her the note her brother left, she suggested looking at his apartment over in Darlington, an area in Everett.

What also came to light was her brothers penchant for intoxicants. He loved them, she had tried to help him int he past but there was nothing she could do. Ladron meanwhile checked her online presence fearing she was a corp spy, noticing a theme? Our young Charlotte Foster works for Allied Interactions, a subsidiary of Saeder Krupp which specialised in social media. With that she had to go and the characters retired to their beds.

The next day was another step in the investigation. They got up, they met for breakfast at the Bomb and 2 hours later they were in Everett. Ladron hacked the building security to send her a message if anyone broke into the apartment. Driving up to the building they parked up and approached.

Their first hurdle was getting into the building. This wasn't a slum, they couldn't just walk in. They walked around to the workman's entrance and knocked on the door. The super came to the door and the majority of them bluffed their way into the building by saying they were making a deliver. One didn't, Wraith decided she knew best, but it worked. No harm, no fowl.

Going up to the apartment they opened the door and well our intrepid PI lost his breakfast on the floor. The place was filthy, unwashed clothes, rotting food, all sorts of filth. Some intense searching revealed a number of things, well three. A lot of drug paraphernalia, An old fashioned address book and a clean shoe box under the bed.

Drop Bear having taken his large gun with him just in case was checking for ambushes when a call came out from the bedroom.

"Drop Bear, Come here I need you."

"But I need you, It will just take a minute." They wanted him to push the box out from under the bed with his gun.

"No, that's when the Ninjas get you!" Well, you can't argue with that logic.

Eventually they got the box out even with the warnings from Tartarus about it feeling wrong and the fact that there seemed to be no wireless signal coming from it. It was a pretty tense moment, everyone was ready for something to go bang when the box was opened. Who opened it? That will be something that no one will ever know, all that is known is that it was opened and inside lay a single cream coloured feather with a dark brown mark on its stalk.

That is when Ladron seemed to go into some sort of seizure…

Well that wasn't exactly action packed but it made some more questions come out of the woodwork. Where are the mexican elves? Where is the brother? Are there any corp spies? and what is the deal with that feather? Maybe there is a clue in that address book, who knows? Until next time this is game cat…

Signing out.

Southern Drawl
Not a sprawl.

Well howdy now Chummers,

Game cat here with the latest in the continueing saga of Drop bear, wraith and the rest of the motley rag tag bunch. First off, some tex mex big wig called up the bear they call drop. An old friend it seemed, Bill Taylor. He had a problem he wanted sorting and had heard that the bear was the way to go.

So they needed to get to texas huh? Well maybe there would be some mexican elves, maybe not? So Ladron called up her good buddy and friend la chupa cabra and they paid there way across the borders with temporary fake id's thrown in. What a bonus!

After a very uncomfortable journey they got to their destination in tact. What happens next is anyones guess.

And then there was death
this is my boom stick

The investigation into the missing person continued. Asking around the street was getting them nowhere then in a moment os inspiration Wraith asked a hobo. 45 Nuyen later they had a lead. In an alley just down the street they found a bullet hole in a bin, then more further down. They followed the bullet holes which lead them out to an opening across from the derelict train station the client directed them too.

When they went in to take a look around they noticed there were some armed people laying in wait. Wraith and Leelu sneaked around the back of the group and got them in their sights. While this was happening the rest of the group laid down suppressive fire keeping the enemy heads down while Wraith and Leelu picked them off.

10 seconds of gunfire later the remaining survivors ran away leaving corpses of their friends behind them. Drop-Bear acted fast and glomped them both keeping them down, not much can keep going once they have been Drop-Beared. They interrogated the survivors and found out where Dagon had stashed something before he left. Then they shot them… Murderers.

Stashed in a locker they discovered a note that was obviously written to his sister:

'Sis, I couldn't stay. Sorry, they were after me. They are all after me. Help me. I don't know what to do. When I escaped the lab, the runners, they helped me. I don't know what's going on, they are all dead!' The writing was erratic and rushed. Was it genuine? Or was it just the scribbled ramblings of a paranoid nut job.

So where too now? What was this lab that he mentioned? Who were these runners who apparently died? And who are those damned Mexican elves? Maybe next time we will get closer?

In the Beginning there was a johnson,
And that johnson was a lady

in the beginning there was a lady, she went to see a private eye about her brother. You see he had gone missing and she was worried as she had received a message from him over her commlink which was:

"Sis please, you gotta help! I am in real bad trouble! Please did this is serious! Meet me in that place i hid that thing that time!" The sound of gunfire rippled in the background. "PLEASE! Help me!" And the line cut off.

She offered to pay him and a team for the trouble of looking for him, she was so worried. You could say that she was desperate, desperate enough to pay a lot of Nuyen. It was an offer a private eye couldn't refuse.

And so a team was gathered for this mission of rescue. There was Ladron, a snarky Azzie technomancer, Lee-Loo an ex ganger street samurai, Wraith a covert ops specialist, Drop-Bear a Texan weapons specialist and Tartarus our intrepid P.I.

So they met in their local drinking hole a club called 'The Cherry Bomb' in downtown Seattle where Tartarus told them about the job. To locate and rescue if needed a guy called Gene 'Dagon' Foster, and they were being paid by his sister Charlotte Foster. They had found out that she was supposed to meet him in a derelict train station down in Redmond.

Ladron phoned the client and got her to forward the message to her. Then using the mystical abilities of the matrix she traced it back to where the call should have been made from. It was 2 blocks from the train station. In preparation she summoned a sprite which took the form of a german heavy hammer man called Rinehart.

After having a wash and getting ready they went over to Redmond to attempt to track down where the coms message came from. When there they got there they found they were in the Crimson Crush territory. After a short conversation which included the query:

"Speaking of the circus I believe there was a firefight here not to long ago."

They found out some mexican elves had paid the gang to steer clear and not interfere…

The plot thickens.
